Moringa oil is rich in antioxidants, omega fatty acids, collagen, and vitamins A, C, and E making it an effective moisturizing agent in skin care products to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Moringa Oil absorbs quickly into the skin and infuses easily into body creams, soaps, massage oils, and other skincare products. Moringa oil has a low, natural scent, effectively holds volatile scents, and blends with other oils making it an ideal stabilizing ingredient in perfumes. An ideal carrier oil, Moringa has a high slip value (82.5 degrees) and a low spread value (15.5 percent). Moringa oil improves the permeability of skin, and conditions and strengthens hair. Moringa oil is highly resistant to oxidative degradation with an OSI of 130 hours.
We start at the farm, providing the tools and training farmers need to grow moringa well. “Outgrower” farmers are registered and organized into a cohort through a Village Savings and Loan Association group that meets regularly with a True Moringa Field Officer. Through these groups, farmers receive training on financial literacy and best practices for cultivating moringa. Field Officers map each farm using GIS technology and visit monthly to provide support to farmers throughout the growing and harvest cycle. We provide a guaranteed market for all of the moringa farmers produce, helping them to earn between 4-10x what they might earn growing subsistence crops alone.
“Ingrower” farmers are allotted a parcel of land on our nucleus farm. These farmers typically belong to more vulnerable populations (widows, single women, elders) and do not own land of their own. Our model smooths income over the growing and harvest cycle, ensuring that farmers do not have to wait until harvest for a lump sum payment.
Moringa can be intercropped within existing cultivations, thrives in arid climates, and requires little water. Unlike most tree crops, moringa produces leaves in two months and seeds in eight months, allowing farmers both a sustainable source of nutrition and income security in one plant.
Once seeds are purchased from our farmers, we transport them to our processing center in Accra. We add value locally in Ghana, creating over 150 non-farm jobs along our supply chain. Seeds are carefully sorted, shelled, cold-pressed, and filtered in a heat-controlled environment using proprietary processing systems designed and built by our founders. Each batch of moringa oil is independently lab tested to verify quality and coded to ensure traceability to the farm.
We partner with beauty and personal care brands to bring the True Moringa story to conscious consumers worldwide. In addition to supplying the purest moringa oil nature has to offer, we provide farmer stories, multimedia content, and unprecedented traceability. We build customized “one-for-one” campaigns, allowing your customers to plant a moringa tree in their name and discover the farmer and community that benefits from that tree.
When you add our “powered by True Moringa” seal to your product, your customers are assured that you care about the ingredients you use and how they are sourced.
“Our natural lip crayons contain True Moringa Oil. The crayons have a high color payoff and the moringa oil helps guide the colorant on your lips. They keep lips soft and supple. Our ingredient deck is very important to us. When we learned about the story of True Moringa, we knew we had to find a way to use it in our lipsticks. We strive to be ethical in all aspects of our business, ingredients included.”

“When the True Moringa team first told me about moringa’s story, I was absolutely touched, and also amazed at its benefits on health and our environment. As Greenvines’ skin care philosophy is about giving skin its real and only needs, we found that moringa oil could be the perfect product to fit in our philosophy, and with the fair-trade purpose behind it, we felt it would be an honor for us to promote moringa oil with our customers in Taiwan.”
- Harris Cheng, CEO Greenvines Taiwan
“We use moringa oil in a few of our handcrafted froth bombs (a bath bomb and bubble bath in one). Moringa oil has many skin and hair benefits due to its high levels of vitamins and moisturizing power. As our froth bomb customers soak in our moringa-powered products, their hair and skin will thank them. Before our customers even purchase Pacha products, we’ve done the hard thinking for them. We are choosy about our ingredients and partner with conscious and sustainable ingredient suppliers so our customers don’t have to worry about what’s in their soap, froth bombs, etc. So True Moringa was an easy choice for us! They are just the kind of conscious, sustainable supplier we look for.”

Storage Conditions & Shelf Life
Containers should be kept closed to avoid contamination. Store in a cool (< 70 degrees F), dry and well-ventilated area away from heat and light. Exposure to heat will corrupt crucial fatty acid structures, rendering the oil less effective. Shelf Life: Three years from date of manufacture if sealed and stored according to instructions
